Graphic Designer & Web Lead

Job Title: Graphic Designer & Web Lead
Location: New York, NY (Hybrid / Full-time)
Schedule: Must be NYC-based and available for weekly in-office days.

About the Role:

ANFISA Skin is seeking a sharp, detail-obsessed, and creatively driven Graphic Designer & Web Lead to join our team. This hybrid role sits at the intersection of physical and digital brand expression, owning our packaging and print design while also managing and evolving our website.

As our Graphic Designer & Web Lead, you are responsible for the end-to-end execution of our visual and digital touchpoints, from packaging concept to print-ready files, and from routine site updates to full product launches. This role requires a sharp creative eye, precise attention to detail, and enough technical fluency to move quickly and independently. As our brand and digital footprint scale, responsibilities will evolve to meet the needs of the business.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Packaging & Print Design:
— Design primary and secondary packaging, including boxes, labels, inserts, jars, bottles, mailers, and other miscellaneous brand props, translating brand direction into production-ready packaging that stands out on shelf and in unboxing moments.
— Build and manage print-ready files (die lines, bleeds, CMYK/Pantone color matching, prepress checks) and work directly with printers and manufacturers, including overseas packaging partners, to review proofs and resolve production issues.
— Manage a high volume of design requests with quick, accurate turnarounds, from minor packaging revisions to net-new concepts, without compromising quality or brand consistency.
— Bring a genuine creative point of view to packaging and design decisions, proactively offering concepts and improvements rather than only executing direction.
— Support marketing, e-commerce, and social teams with occasional design needs as priorities require.

2. Website Management & Development:
— Manage, update, and code the ANFISA Skin website(s) on Shopify Plus, maintaining site health, design integrity, and functionality.
— Support and maintain multiple storefronts, including both DTC and B2B properties, ensuring each is optimized for its distinct customer and purchasing flow.
— Partner cross-functionally to build and QA landing pages, product pages, and campaign experiences for new product launches and key brand moments, working to tight timelines.
— Handle regular web updates, including content changes, merchandising, banners, new pages, app integrations, and bug fixes, keeping the site current and running smoothly.
— Stay ahead of emerging e-commerce platforms, apps, and tools, and bring recommendations that could improve the site's performance, conversion, or customer experience.
— Find efficient, resourceful solutions to web challenges, balancing best practice with the reality of a fast-moving, lean team.

3. Continuous Improvement Involvement:
— Document and refine design and web workflows (file naming, handoff processes, QA checklists) to standardize execution as the team and site scale.
— Demonstrate flexibility in a dynamic, high-growth environment, adapting to evolving brand needs and platform changes.

Requirements & Qualifications:

— 2+ years of graphic design experience with a portfolio that includes packaging and print production work.
— 2+ years of hands-on experience building or managing a Shopify storefront (Shopify Plus required), including basic Liquid/HTML/CSS. General web design or development experience
— Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign); Figma experience is a plus.
— Experience supporting more than one storefront model (e.g., DTC and B2B) preferred but not required.
— Experience working with overseas packaging manufacturers, including managing samples, production timelines, and quality control across time zones.
— Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to turn around accurate revisions quickly under tight deadlines.
— A genuine interest in beauty, skincare, or luxury CPG is a plus.
