Community Manager (nyc based)

Reports to: Founder + CCO

Location: must be NYC-based (remote)

Let’s be real: you’re chronically online, your FYP is basically a trend forecast, and you know the next “it girl” before she even hits 10k.

The antidote to routine fatigue. ANFISA is the definitive reset for a lived-in life. A tight edit of potent, high-performance formulas doing the heavy lifting. the absolute most, with less.

Now, we’re looking for the voice behind the brand: our Community Manager. You already know how things move in the fast-paced, modern beauty space. You don't just work in marketing; you build worlds. You know exactly how to take a curated aesthetic and turn it into a living, breathing community.

You will be the voice, eyes, and ears of ANFISA—running our digital living room, sliding into the right DMs, and bringing our community IRL across New York City and beyond.

What You’ll Do

  • Own the Digital Room: Manage our Instagram presence. You'll be in the DMs and comments daily—chatting with our audience, building genuine rapport, and acting as the ultimate brand bestie.
  • Launch & Lead the Substack: Onboard and run the brand's Substack. While our content producer delivers the visual storytelling, you’ll provide the written peek behind the curtain. Think: exclusive looks into our private lab, deep dives into our obsessive ingredient sourcing, and long-form editorial content that makes our community feel like ultimate insiders.
  • Run the Group Chat: Own and manage our TYB platform, keeping our most loyal community engaged, rewarded, and completely obsessed. You’ll also spearhead our monthly community calls, giving our biggest fans a direct, face-to-face line to the brand.
  • Strategic Gifting & Seeding: Oversee the logistics and execution of our gifting campaigns. You’ll identify and send products to aligned ShopMy curators and tastemakers, ensuring every touchpoint reflects our high-impact, chic aesthetic. But it doesn't stop at the unboxing—you’ll live in the ShopMy analytics. You will actively track clicks, monitor link placements, and analyze conversion data to ensure our seeding strategy consistently drives measurable sales growth and expands our digital footprint.
  • Curate IRL Mini-Moments: Cultivate micro-community meetups. Think: organizing intimate get-togethers with 3-5 cool girls for matcha, sharing lip combos, and gabbing in the city.
  • Event Coordination: Provide hands-on and virtual support for larger community and launch events. You'll help procure props, manage custom branding elements, and ensure the vibes (and logistics) are flawless from start to finish.
  • Bring the Receipts (analytics): Meticulously track your relationship-building. You'll monitor engagement, reach, and content quality, delivering data-driven insights and strategy recommendations directly to the Founder & CCO.
  • Curate the Moodboard: Post and manage our Pinterest. You'll build out an aesthetic universe and vision board that our community will obsessively save and pin.
  • Sync & Strategize: Work hand-in-hand with our marketing and creative teams. You’ll join our weekly marketing syncs, bringing real-time community insights to the table and helping us brainstorm the brand's next big move.
  • Expand Our Wellness Footprint: Execute large-scale gifting and strategic partnerships with the chicest pilates studios, aesthetic recovery spaces, and wellness clubs. We want ANFISA to be a staple everywhere our community works out and unwinds.

Who You Are

  • You've done this before: You already know how things move in the fast-paced, modern beauty space. You understand exactly how an aesthetic, digital-first brand operates, grows, and builds hype.
  • You're an NYC local: While this role is remote (and our HQs + lab is in WA), you need to be on the ground in New York to host our matcha dates, scout event locations, and tap into the local creator scene.
  • You're chronically online: You speak fluent TikTok, you know exactly who is topping the ShopMy charts and you have an encyclopedic knowledge of the digital beauty and wellness space.
  • You're detail-obsessed: You know that true luxury is quiet, and it lives in the details. Whether you're tracking a package, pulling inventory, or making sure the aesthetic of a meetup is absolutely perfect, zero compromises slip past you.
  • You're a natural connector: You don't just network; you make friends. You know how to craft the perfect DM that feels warm and authentic, never like a copy-paste PR pitch.

Content Intern

Content Intern

Location: Spokane, WA

Reports to: Content Manager

You're chronically online and are effortlessly curated. You live and breathe Pinterest mood boards, aesthetic Instagram photo dumps, and vintage runway archives. You speak Tiktok and you just get the vision. An effortlessly chic aesthetic takes serious behind-the-scenes manual labor. We are seeking a highly organized Content Intern to be our ultimate on-set runner and production assistant. You are here to handle the unglamorous reality of physical production so our Content Manager never has to break their creative flow behind the lens.

What You'll Actually Do Every Day

  • Talent Scouting & Venue Booking: You build our roster of on-brand talent and own the entire booking loop. Once the Content Manager greenlights a model, you secure the studio/venue if needed and handle all communication—from the initial DM to the calendar invite. You leave zero room for confusion, sending talent airtight prep sheets covering exact locations, parking, and strict aesthetic requirements (wardrobe, hair, skin) so they arrive camera-ready.
  • The "Never Drop the Camera" Mandate: Your absolute first priority is keeping the physical set moving. If the Content Manager has to break their creative focus to move a C-stand, wipe up spilled product, or search for a prop, you aren't moving fast enough. You handle all physical interruptions so the Content Manager's eyes never leave the viewfinder.
  • Anticipatory Set Maintenance: You don't wait to be told what to clean. The moment a macro shot is captured, you are immediately washing lipstick off glasses, steaming the next silk bra, and scrubbing the backdrop to meticulously reset the space for the next setup.
  • Prop Logistics & Heavy Lifting: While the Content Manager determines the creative direction for props, you are the one executing the physical procurement, organization, heavy lifting, storage, and prepping of those custom props.
  • The Digital Janitor: You are responsible for the immediate offloading, organizing, backing up, and preliminary culling (deleting the blurry/unusable shots) of all raw visual files so the Content Manager can immediately dive into the final edit.
  • Secondary BTS Capture: You act as our secondary documentarian. You are explicitly directed to pick up a phone and capture situational BTS B-roll only when the actual Content Producer is not on set, and only after your set operations (props, lighting, clean-up) are 100% flawless.
  • The Physical Reality: You must be comfortable with the physical demands of set life. This means carrying heavy lighting equipment, driving to run last-minute physical errands for wardrobe or props, and standing on your feet for long hours in a fast-paced environment.
  • The Strike & Inventory Hustle: The job isn't over when the camera turns off. You are responsible for the complete set "strike"—tearing down lighting and meticulously organizing our on-set product inventory so we always know exactly what we have on hand.
  • Set Morale & Crafty: You manage the human element of the set. This means anticipating when the team needs water, a red bull, etc.

Who You Are

  • Aesthetic Native & Vibe Fluent: You aren't just consuming content you understand the vibes. You implicitly get the ANFISA girl aesthetic. You are undeniably cool, possess exceptional taste, and know exactly what makes a visual pop.
  • Dangerously Tech-Savvy: You are intuitively good with digital ecosystems. You don't need your hand held to figure out the Google Suite, file transfer systems, etc.
  • Camera-Literate: You probably already know your way around a camera.

A Scrappy Executor: You are highly technical and hands-on. You don't mind rolling up your sleeves to wash a prop glass, scrub a backdrop, or haul gear to ensure the visual output is perfect.

Requirements

  • Ability to stand for extended periods and lift/move up to 35 lbs as required for sampling and line inspections.
  • Proficiency in using basic measurement tools (digital scales, pH meters, calipers) and completing batch records and logs.

If you’re excited to be part of a fast-growing, quality-driven skincare company, we’d love to hear from you.
